Did you know? The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers a pine tree program that pays landowners to plant pine trees. What an incredible idea! The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a conservation program that helps these property owners integrate conservation into working lands.

EQIP is a reimbursement program that covers part or all of the costs of forestation. Jason Outlaw, Realtor® and Land Sales Specialist at Premier Properties of Dublin, has used this program on his personal land and shared that it’s “a great incentive for landowners.”

In order to get started on this process, you will need to contact your local USDA office. You can find your local office by visiting their website here.

If you have questions about EQIP, or if you’re looking to buy or sell land, Jason Outlaw would be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Reach out to Jason today – 478-278-6246 (cell), 478-274-1606 (office), or by email at jason@premierpropertiesdublin.com.
